Environmental Philosophy
As a member of the Ortus Technology Group, we work to fulfill our social responsibility and carry out corporate activities in such a way as to achieve harmony with the global environment and create a sustainable society.
In sympathy with the citizens' charter of Nankoku City to protect the abundant nature of the area, we base our actions on the slogan, “Let's protect nature to pass on clean water and clean air to future generations.”

Environmental Policy
Based on the slogan above, as the mother factory for producing TFT LCD modules and TFT LCD monitors, all of our employees strive to follow the policy outlined below.
- Ascertain the effects of our business activities on the environment, set environmental objectives and targets for reducing impact, and continuously improve our environmental performance.
- Comply with all environmental laws and regulations that apply to our company, and adhere to local agreements and other requirements with which the company is in agreement.
- Of the environmental aspects that relate to company activities, products, and services, we strive to improve our environmental performance with respect to the following items as key themes for environmental management.
- a) Use electricity and heavy oil efficiently, eliminate waste, and save energy.
- b) Use alternatives to substances that have an impact on the global environment, or reduce their use to lessen environmental impact.
- c) Promote waste control, reuse, and recycling, and maintain and improve zero emissions.
- Conduct internal environmental audits to determine if the environmental management system is being properly implemented, revise the system as necessary, and make continuous improvements.
- Carry out environmental education and training for all employees and raise awareness of the environment.
- Disclose environmental information and participate in community environmental activities to improve communication.
